schoolpsycher Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 (edited) I interviewed at a program on Friday (so 5 days ago). Do you think it's too late to send a thank you email? I'm not sure if it's worse to send one so long after or to not send one at all? Thoughts? Edited March 6, 2014 by schoolpsycher
LittleDarlings Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Not too late I sent a thank you after my fellowship interview about 3-5 days after
iPsych Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 I've waited 6-7 days to send a thank you email before (obviously not ideal but things get in the way sometimes!) and professors don't seem to be put off by how long it took me to thank them!
peachypie Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Better late than never I always say. 5 days isn't terrible so send em out!
Veet Voojagig Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I think as long as it's within a week, you're fine.
clinicalpsychphd20 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I think after it has been a couple days, it's best to not send it. at that point its just awkward. As far as what to put - I would just thank the faculty for their time, and reiterate my interest in the program/working with them.
