In all the conversations I've had with POIs, they are never as interested in what I had to say about their work as I'd prepped for. They want to get to know you. Be prepared to talk about fit with the program. 1000% agree with and cosign this advice. when my prof interviewed me we barely talked about his work except in relation to how it fit with my work. It helps to know the keywords they're using, obvs, but I'd be more concerned with how their work relates to yours.

Think it went well, the professor seemed interested in hearing what I thought about various things, went pseudo-off-topic a couple times, I liked all the research he said he was doing with his students. He said we should be hearing "very soon".

I'll wait to see all the decisions before I make a choice. I did quite a lot of research at the beginning so I have a ranking already established, though that will change based on funding.

Heart attack -> sinking feeling -> irrational anger at alumni center for calling me while I'm waiting to hear back from Boulder thegnuguy and grad_wannabe 2
