jkanche Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I got an email from the admissions director asking me to submit my application so that it can be reviewed by their admissions committee. (this happenned 2 weeks ago). I filled the entire application but decided not to submit because of the funding problems and the research doesn't exactly align with my interests. I was wondering, Should I revisit and submit my application ? or the reason I received the email is because they did not receive a good number of applications to the program ? (they offered me to waive the application fee)
jujubea Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 If it does not align with your interests, why bother?
rising_star Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 If it's not going to cost you anything to apply, why not apply and see what happens?
have2thinkboutit Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 (edited) If they are waiving the application fee you could submit it, but I'd ask the same as Jujubea - why do it of there is no fit? Unless there are other themes they are working on you could see yourself become interested in I would not waste their and my time. Edited March 21, 2015 by have2thinkboutit
