stressedout Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) I come to you from philosophy, but am very interested in psych. I wondered if ya'll could point me to a website or post here regarding the best masters programs for students without a formal psych background (if there are such things)? I am intrigued by Wake Forest's general psych masters, and they seem to accept some students outside of a traditional psych background. What about masters programs that have reduced psych prerequisites? Also, is there a site that ranks psych masters programs? The end goal is to move to a PhD program. didion10 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I attended NYU's as a former anthro major. Worked for me...I think they only require two classes. Anyway, PM me if you have any questions. no funding though.... stressedout 1
namarie Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) I think I saw that the Teacher's College at Columbia University has a master's in clinical psych that doesn't require a psych background. If you're interested, look at the FAQs for the program. I think I saw the information there. Edited February 26, 2016 by namarie Add comment stressedout 1
