CLCD Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Hi Everyone, I saw that Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions has a new SLP program that is developing! It seems to have an emphasis on medical, but I was wondering if anyone else has done any research on this school. What is everyone's thoughts on applying to a brand new program? Thanks!
babykoala Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I don't think I would get my master's degree at a for-profit school. hsluder 1

I am in a brand new program this year! I'm at the University of Delaware and so far everything that I have seen there in the first couple of days has really impressed me. I am actually glad that I chose to go to this program instead of my alma mater, where I was also accepted. I don't know much about Rocky Mountain, so I can't comment on it, but I will say that sometimes it's in your favor to apply to the new programs.
panda1991 Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 I looked into the program, and it looks like it's a Doctorate program for people who already have their masters in SLP.
