Negative on Region 12.. I'm Region 17
SarahT Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 (edited) Hey all! Glad to find this thread! I was hoping to hear something today going off of the timeline in the application packet. My last name starts with a T unfortunately (if it's alphabetical). I am region 10 or 11 and live in Midlothian. Anyone else live in the area? Edited December 15, 2016 by SarahT

I live in Mansfield, we're pretty close My last name starts with L, so I will post on here as soon as I hear anything. Did you happen to apply for the bilingual track? Anyone else out there in Region 10 or 11? Edited December 15, 2016 by Speechiegirl12
Moxie-19 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 It's funny how we've all analyzed the sent time on previous emails. This waiting is driving us insane! I did notice a pattern of emails being received after 4 pm. I just told a group of first graders, "I'm waiting on a email!"

I did not apply for the bilingual track. Do you currently work as an SLP assistant or teacher in Mansfield?

What about you? @Moxie-19: It must be the therapist in us wanting to analyze every single detail! My last name starts with L and I received that e-mail Nov 3rd at 4:06. What do you mean about a pattern in e-mails after 4 pm? @mvslpa: I went back on the thread and saw you are Region 10, did you happen to apply for the bilingual track? I had a question about it. What do you mean about a pattern in e-mails after 4 pm? @Speechiegirl12 I have emails all the way back to registering for the Cycle 7 and Cycle 8 information sessions. Yes I attended those sessions, just didn't apply to the program. Most of the emails I received have a time that is after 4 pm. mvslpa 1
mvslpa Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 @Speechiegirl12 I am new to this and don't know how to reply under your comment. Anyway, I did apply for the bilingual track.
Speechiegirl12 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 @mvslpa where do you work? I misplaced my packet during my move and couldn't remember, but if accepted, the bilingual track would take one more semester correct? @Moxie-19 Got ya. That makes sense.
MH13 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Yes, it's an extra semester of courses! I didn't sign up for the bilingual track but that's what the packet says.
BehaviorNinja Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Accepted!!! Just received the e-mail! Thank God!!

kristens Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Congrats for getting in! What is the alpha for your last names again? I'm wondering if these are going out in alphabetical order also.
kristens Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Or think they are sending emails out in order of the regions?
BehaviorNinja Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Last name starts with C, Region 20. I'm praying for all of you! This was my second time to apply to TWU and my third to a speech program in general. I've worked my tail off and am so incredibly relieved!!
AA786 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Hey guys, I just got accepted to Region 4. Received the email at 3:12 pm. Good luck to everyone. I hope you guys get all that you wish for.
SarahT Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Accepted to region 10! The email came through at 3:08, and my last name begins with T.
Speechie88 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Still nothing for me... I guess 3rd time is not the charm.
