Yeah, that's my consolation in light of turning down UIUC

FWIW, I think UIUC is significantly weakened by Dan Korman leaving for Santa Barbara, so probably the right move on your part. Even if you don't do metaphysics, he's a really good person to have around and he'll be hard to replace.

One of my many considerations. It was really hard to turn them down though. They seem like a great program, well supported by their faculty.
