Number of school's you're apply to?

Applying to 7 schools mostly on the west coast but some in IL and one in NM. First time applying so while I have more preferred options, I desperately want to get in SOMEWHERE so I applied to schools that were on the more pricey side. I've been out of school a while so I already feel behind and don't really want to wait another year to re-apply...

I applied to 6. Sometimes I don't think its enough, especially in comparison to other people who've applied to 15-20, but unfortunately financially I can't send in more than 6 :/ Just those schools alone drained $1500 out of my paycheck and I can't imagine spending anymore. Can someone share their financial security w/me? haha

I am applying to 7 schools that all have reasonable out of state tuition rates (Wyoming might be too pricey if I do not get an assistantship).

I'm applying to 11, I really just want to get in somewhere so I figured the more the better chances.
