Which grad schools look at the last 60 hours?

In my last 60 hours in my Finance degree (I'm a second BA), I had a 3.5 GPA. My overall is a 3.1. My major gpa is 3.6. Anyone know what schools only look at your 60 hours? It would really help my chances.

My GPA isnt that great compared to the 4.0's here, but I'm still hoping I can manage to get in somewhere. I'm studying hard to get a high GRE score. I'm bilingual and I hear some schools value that. I interned at a Speech Clinic, and have worked with children before but I feel like I need to do more to beef up my resume. What else can I do before applications to REALLY impress the grad schools?  Any advice would be helpful! Thank you

Look into Pennsylvania State University and University of Maryland because I think they both look at last 60 credits, however check their website to be sure!

 

Definitely study the GRE to get an above average score! It will set you apart from the other students who just did average. I had a lower GPA as well, but I managed to get into a lot of schools. I think they really do look at the whole package, including GPA, GRE, clinical experience, research, LOR, and personal statements, so try to really sell yourself!

As the other person said, you need to go through each schools website to see which GPA they want. If they ask for both, I'd call and ask how much weight they put on each and apply to those schools which place more weight on the last 60.  In addition, bilingual?? Holy cow- thats great! If it were me, I'd be researching schools with a faculty member who does research in bilingualism, contact that faculty member, and say how much I'd like to work with him/her and even be a research asst. Your skill could be a huge asset to some PHD doing research in that area. West Texas A&M looks at last 60. I'm pretty sure theres been a post on schools that look at last 60 units. Try searching it and you'll find more info that's already been posted.
