Aaargh...This week sucks!

Just as I was consoling myself (by fooling around in Keep a Word,Drop a Word) about the reject from my top choice school, I get the news that one of my papers has been rejected. My hopes of getting a publication in a top-notch journal are crushed, I feel so disheartened by this whole new development. Wish the rest of the week goes by without anymore hiccups!

I'm not sure that this week will be any better than the last. I expected to get a lot of news this week, but I've heard nothing so far. The waiting is agonizing.

Was it a peer-reviewed journal? Did you get their feedback? If so, make some changes and send it to another journal. Don't give up after just one rejection.

Agree, agree, agree...revise the paper and send it back out. Look at the drivel that is published sometimes....you will find a place for it somewhere. Don't give up!

For my part, this is the looooooooooooongest weeeeeeeeeeeek eeeeeeeeeeeeever....how can it be Wednesday, the last week of February, and I have not heard ANYTHING from ANY of my schools??? SIGH.

Yup, that's what my boss is up to. As things would have it, I am taking a break and relaxing at home, some relaxation this! I'm just gonna put all this behind and hope for the best! We all will end up something good, fingers crossed lol
