Is it appropriate to turn down an offer of admission via e-mail? I'm a little nervous about an awkward phone call but want to make sure they know I'm grateful and not taking the offer for granted.

For those of you who have been through this process before - I've been trying to prep for interview questions and I'm having trouble finding blogs etc specifically for counseling psych questions I may be asked. I know these interview are similar to clinical but how else do I need to prep? What kind of questions might I be asked about clinical work? Also how do group interviews work, I may have a few of those throughout the cycle. Thanks!

Another weather related inquiry - people interviewing at northern and potentially snowy schools (women) how are you handling the footwear situation? Should I bring shoes and change or just nix heels and wear flats? Also, what kind of bag is everyone bringing around? Should I invest in a briefcase? I normally use backpacks/tote bags. Thanks!

Did anyone else just get that mass email from Teacher's College Admissions with the subject "You're Invited" and a few emojis? Comedic relief because for a second I thought that's how they were extending interview offers ?

Hi All, does anyone have suggestions for how to handle conflicting interviews? Two of my top choices have scheduled me for the same day (one said the PI I want to work with is only available for this specific date out of the two school-wide dates, the other only offered one date).Tough choices ahead!!
