Exactly this. You can't control other people's applications. You can only make yours the best that it can be. If it isn't and that makes you mad at the people who got in, then you're only misdirecting your anger. Yeah you'll feel bad and wish it had been you, but if you're hoping that person gets hit by a bus just so you can move up the list--you have a problem.

Question: how late do you think schools will call (if they call to notify you of admission)? Sub-question: how late do you think schools will call people who are 6/7 hours ahead?

Sorry to hear that but thanks for your kind words. It's probably only because I was told by the DGS to include in my SOP that I was willing to be considered for the MA if no PhD spots were open.

Looks like there was a rejection posted for Delaware. Anyone else see a change in their application status? I got nothin'.

My bf just got into Michigan for his MA. Or MS. I'm not entirely sure. Either way, he submitted his application, like, THREE WEEKS AFTER I DID.
