Mine has been status the 10 times I've checked today.

I'd wager HGSE will send out decisions around the same time as the rest of the graduate programs at Harvard (HKS, HBS 2nd rd, etc) which should be towards the end of next week. Maybe even the week after since HGSE gives March 25 as the latest notification date.

I posted the same thing earlier, but that only works out to half of us on here(granted there's some selection bias).

I think my cohort this year in Higher Ed is close to 40. Though to be fair I can't recall how many of those are part timers who happened to be in the required classes with us.

NYC teacher and CUNY education adjunct here. Do not, I repeat DO NOT pay full freight for a teaching masters at a private school. Even if you decided to stay in teaching forever, which more teachers don't do each year, it is not worth the cost. Also, I would not let my own children apply to NYU for undergrad and did not apply myself for grad school. While their reputation is outstanding and have some wonderful professors, their programs are spotty. I have often been told by students, grad and undergrad, that many of the classes are taught by TAs or professionals with either poor teaching skills or who are just there to teach the class. I apologize to anyone having a great experience at NYU. My cousin, working towards a BA in psych is very happy. PM me if you have more specific question. Good luck.

My name Kelly and I'm currently working within the field of international education and academic
counseling in Peru. I plan on applying to a masters in international education policy within the
next 3-4 years. I have a few specific experiences I need to cross off my list before I do so to enhance
my chances.
 
I graduated from college in 2010 and will have over 3 years of work experience as of May 2013.
The first year was within the diplomatic realm in Washington D.C. and my last two years have
been with EducationUSA in Lima, Peru.
 
I have been googling and googling and googling some more to find useful CV websites/models to help
update my college graduate resume and have come up with nothing.
 
For those of you who have recently applied to HGSE, TC, UPENN or any other great educational school I would
really be interested in getting CV advice or a CV model if you are willing to share.

Ok....this forum is for HARVARD only. Fyi. Perhaps you should go to the other blogs were those admission processes are being discussed. According to admissions and the results table, you are dead wrong. All you have done since you have been posting, from what I can tell, is deliver negative and erroneous news. Since you keep harping on the fact you say Harvard has already sent all of its invites, it doesn't really make sense that you keep coming back on here urinating on everyone's parade. Why do that? Do you know more than admissions or the people that are getting their invites on a rolling basis?????

I think you guys are worrying too much about your GRE scores. From what I gather, HGSE just wants to make sure you can do the work, so your SOP and previous experiences would be much more important for the M.Ed program.

Again people no-one on this blog knows anything for certain. You can give into the negative speak if you want to. Hgsehopeful doesn't know anymore than anyone else. I refuse to give up hope. This is HARVARD we are talking about, the best school in the universe. They aren't planning events around what it will take for you to come for an interview. When HARVARD calls, you come running. I don't care if they call me the day before the last day of interviews; I am calling into work, grabbing the bag that I already have packed and leaving asap!!! I really don't understand how some of you want to be leaders of change but the least little thing brings major doubt? Where is your faith in yourselves? I have been having lots of nightmares lately.  I think from all of the anxiety of waiting.  However, last night I had a dream about getting accepted to HGSE and I was in Cambridge at an open house event.  It was wonderful!  I woke up in such a good mood.  Hang in there everyone!

Please don't be offended by what I am about to say hgsehopeful, but my life would go much easier right now without your guestimations and hearsay. Everybody on here is waiting to hear life changing news. Unless you work for admissions, you may need to stop. Look at it this way...Is what you are saying helping? I know its not helping me and I dare not speak for anyone else, but we need to wait until at least Friday and then come to some conclusions. I will be the first to say that you were right last week, but for right now can you just kind of lay off a little? Please? I am a non-drinker and I am two seconds from going to the liquor store to ask for the beginner's kit!!! 

I thought Penn masters programs had rolling admissions until August.
