Your questions should be directed to the department. 1. Is there a funding waitlist and is that waitlist ranked? 2. Is funding available and guaranteed for the second year if one is declined funding in the first? 3. Are there any additional cross-university competitive funding opportunities?

So what sort of evidence do I require to prove that I don't intend to stay in the States after I graduate? I have some financial family documents but what are US immigration looking for?

Does any one have any experience looking for and signing up for appartments while you're still abroad? ETA: I'm also bringing my pets as well.

I'd like to add to this post. I am an international and would like advice about how to secure an appartment while being out of the country. I will be unable to attend the university's international and graduate housing as I will be bringing my pets from abroad.

Actually I've been fortunate to meet many Americans. I can genuinely say that all of them were really lovely and curious - except for one ass. But he would have been an ass regardless of his nationality.

I don't understand why they would offer 24,000pa and only 80 (85) per cent tuition waiver. Surely they would fund the tuition waiver first? That said, I have excellent MA funding albeit in a different country.
