Admitted to Yale Divinity, MDiv, full tuition scholarship and a 5k stipend... top scholarship winners receive calls.

Got call from YALE. Missed it. Left message - call me back, don't worry, "nothing but good news". I'm shaking.

Not necessarily true (for offers of admission). It could be for big scholarships or someone needed to discuss his financial aid app or something similar. Until we get notice that he gets through and is offered a spot, I'd hold back speculation.

Ugh, I know they've made their decisions, but I just want to know what that decision is.

I'm taking into account both of these. I'm "expecting" my decision on the 15th, but I will definitely be checking on the 11th and 14th as well. I'm sure you will be too, and as soon as one of us stumbles on an update we'll post. On that note, any word on Union's MDiv decisions?

Congrats! Welcome, and yeah, the wait is tough on us all, but waiting on a letter (Vandy and Union) sucks even more than just waiting for results to get posted online.

Me too, considering that's where all my applications that haven't been decided are at...Anyone know anything beyond the one MDiv post on the results page for Union? I'd say a March 15th expectation isn't unreasonable.

It's officially March...I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Also, for YDS, the email made it seem like the online status check would be on the same day as the letters' date - March 15th. However, they could finish earlier I suppose...If they're mailing on Monday, surely they've completed all their decisions on Friday...

How would I go about sending it? Email? Mail? And how should I word it? "Writing to inform you that...."? I doubt it. It'll most likely be a check as often as possible during that week, with some daring adventurers checking well before (me). If you applied to Candler, think about how OPUS worked.

Either they're trying to make a decision on where to put you or they might just have an unofficial waitlist, in which case they can't notify you b/c that designation technically doesn't exist, they're just still making decisions.

Just found out that my paper has been accepted at a Medieval Studies Conference, too bad it's too late to put on my application and I would just feel lame trying to tell them about it. Also, has anyone gotten the courage to attempt to clarify what "Mid-March" means with respect to YDS, HDS, and Union? In December mid-March was fine, but now that we're about to enter March, I guess I want a more specific date.

I sure hope so, but if my worst case scenario is good funding at Vanderbilt Divinity, I think I'll live. CONGRATS!

Hey A-rod. I know for the MDiv the deadline was only 9 days ago, making their decision in Mid-March pretty quick, but I don't know what the deadlines for other programs were.

I wonder what a solid admit from Vandy says about my chances at HDS, YDS, and Union (the three I haven't heard back from).
