I contacted them.. well at least for GSAS MA , they said on April 1 they were JUST given the applications and they will now go thru them.. so more months of agony

what a bunch of BS...... its not like they even give $$$ for them to dedicate so much time to it......I have to email the department begging them to expedite a review of my application before April (because thats when my only acceptance. NYU wants a answer)

hey has anyone heard from Columbia GSas yet. I applied to the political science masters program and they told me that they haven't made any decisions? why would they wait this late? the person I talk to seem like a student and didn't really know what they were talking about. has anybody heard anything?Thanks

Hi guys, I am kind of torn here... I got into NYU GSAS for their MA Politics Program... but the email said I was not awarded any fellowship or scholarship with it & so that means I have to pay for it myself.... but its very expensive... i mean im kind of torn,,, either go to NYU and take loans, etc or go to my undergrad (Marist College) & get an MPA for half the price of what it would cost at NYU.. what would u guys do? take the cheaper option or the better school? Also, does anyone know if I should try talking to the department, maybe I can get funding somewhere?

I got like 140's on the quant. and 150's on the verbal and 4.0 on the writing... Lol... it was horrible.. and I got into NYU

I called and they refuse to give any decision information on the phone. and with the NetID, I heard if you make one and it lets u log in .. it will tell u that u r admitted or not.. thats why I was wondering

Hi all. ive applied for NYU GSAS (Poii Sci, MA) & im still awaiting a response, however, I heard about a trick where if you go to home.nyu.edu and u try to sign up for a NetID , that means you are likely accepted. I tried that, & it gave me a Netid and i created a password, but when i try to log in, it says I am not eligible to create a NYU Home account, why is that,? is it because I was rejected or was it because I havent accepted the offer and given them a deposit/registered yet? I mean would they give me a NetID without accepting me first? what do u guys think. thanks

Hi, i know this thread has been dead for some time... but, I tried to create a Net ID & it let me create one and it allowed me to make a password, However, when I try to log in it says I am in ineligible for a NYU Home account at this time.... does this mean I am rejected??

Hi guys, im applying to Columbia and NYU GSAS divisions (MA in Poli Sci at Columbia & MA in IR at NYU), but I have not heard anything from them yet. Have I been rejected because its late in the game & I havent heard back yet? Has anyone else applied to these schools and programs/departments and got a decision back? if yes, then when? thanks

Did anyone here from NYU GSAS or Columbia GSAS? for the MA in IR and Poli Sci....I called and they told me a few MORE weeks... wtf its gonna be April and im gonna be graduating soon with no idea where ill be going? thats ridiculous
