Guys. I am dying today. I keep seeing all of these accepted posts and I wish I would have applied to schools that tell you sooner! Why did I have to go for all of the mid March schools? I mean, I know that's only like 2 weeks away, but we all know how slow that will go in anxiety time!

It's just so mind boggling! I've watched like six episodes today alone when I have a test that I need to be studying for this week. JJ Abrams, you are the king of distracting me!

On days like today, I'm thankful for Lost. It distracts me from all of this craziness and blows my mind every single episode. Any other Lost addicts? I'm working my way through it for the first time, just started season 5!

Yes I do feel relief! I'm so much less anxious to check my email or the portals! Though I do still have anxiety for the week to come!

Sigh.. No matter how many times I check emails and portals during the day, it's always the same.... "Pending dept decision, applied and complete..."

Hey AuD2018, I saw that you heard back from Western Michigan, and was going to ask you about when you heard, but then realized it was for the Audiology program, correct? I would think that they would notify candidates around the same time for both programs but I guess not! Congrats!

@deafaudi and @autismadvocate It makes me so upset when people think that if you have a disability, you're so much less competent to do normal things. Of course, I don't understand what it is like to be deaf or to have autism, but I do have rheumatoid arthritis and have experienced people thinking that I am incapable of certain things. It is just so frustrating sometimes. If anything, people with disabilities can do things better because they know how to put forth an effort and don't take things for granted! Sorry, that was a little bit of a rant!

My anxiety levels are shooting through the roof!

Isn't it crazy that the month that we've all been waiting dreadfully for, March, will be here next weekend? Eek!

I thought about applying for OSU but didn't end up applying, do you love it there? I am a hardcore Bucks fan! My GRE was low, 141 Q, 146 V and 5.0 AW. My GPA in my undergrad was 3.03 but is a 3.75 in my COMD post bacc classes. I thought about taking the GRE again but I didn't want to put another $200 in it...

CONGRATS! If you need advice on travel accommodations, I live 20 minutes from Akron and may be able to help a little! Thanks! And yeah, like I said, I did not really want to go to Akron anyway, I just applied because they had a program and it was close. So hopefully my dream of getting out of the state of Ohio will come true since I only applied to two schools here and already got rejected from one!

First rejection from the University of Akron today. I didn't really want to go there and know that they accept a lot of their own students, but it still stinks a little receiving that word! At least I have an interview coming up next week! Gives me slight hope!

Awesome topic! Well, I kinda have a hard time deciding between these, because everywhere that I applied, I would be willing to go and want to go! So… if I had to choose… My HOPE is to get into at least two or three schools so that I can choose from a couple and compare finances, living situation, programs, etc. My DREAM would be to get into one of these three schools: Midwestern University, University of Washington-Seattle (MedSLP), or Appalachian State University. My GUESS is that I may possibly get into one school that doesn't involve moving, and I feel like chances are slim for even that.. I don't know, I'm struck with all of this what if anxiety that I'm sure you are all experiencing! I'm struggling with my anxiety big time right now!
