-
Oh, i still hope you'll get the funding from UNL! But which university do you prefer more if funding is not an issue?
-
Awesome! I'm still waiting for my funding details- hope it comes soon. Congrats again!
-
Hi, alhemicharka! Congratulations! Have you gotten your funding details yet?
-
Hi, armchairette! A couple of acquaintances have said that it's still ok not to have a car,e specially if you're trying to be frugal.
-
Hi, fannek! I, too, might go to UNL. Still waiting for funding decision to come around April or May. The problem is, the deadline for acceptance is April 1. Is that your case, too?
-
Hi, Mallorn! Nice to hear from you! Sent you PM!
-
Hi, likemythesis. That was me- you're welcome. How did you find out about your rejection? If i hadn't asked, then i wouldn't have known..

J2 Funding Support?....Please Help
maiwalker replied to ImagineMe's topic in IHOG: International House of Grads
Thank you for your reply.. I'll try to ask again. Unfortunately, this is the only school that has accepted me so far. Would you mind if you could point me to that particular US website which I can show them? Thank you so much in advance. -
J2 Funding Support?....Please Help
maiwalker replied to ImagineMe's topic in IHOG: International House of Grads
Hi, guys! Are you funded by your government or some external fellowship in your home country? Coz i got accepted in this certain university, but they said they could only issue me an F1, saying that J1 are only for exchange students. How can I beg them to give a J1 so my husband can get a J2 and work? Im really anxious about this. Thanks in advance! -
How much did applying to grad programs cost you?
maiwalker replied to Maziana's topic in Waiting it Out
GRE - 185 TOEFL - 190 School App Fees (4 schools) - 300 Transcripts - 60 735 USD (which converts to 31605 pesos - close to a month's salary! :s -
Hi! So do you recommend emailing the PI then at this time (no word since submission of application). I want closure, at the very minimum!
-
What do you mean alternate status? Still nothing from them.
-
Same here, jackinstyle. Imapplied in CPEP- havent heard from them at all- whether reject or not- while some have. What do you think it means? Waitlist, hopefully?
-
To the ones who posted that they've been accepted to CPEP, was the email/phone call from the PI? Or from the secretary? Thank you!
-
Bumping this thread up! Anyone else applying to CPEP?
-
Hi, guys! Anyone of you applied in the combined program in education and psychology? Saw one post on the results search about an email from the secretary. Anyone else got any emails? Thanks!

Developmental Psychology PHD Applicants
maiwalker replied to twinkletwinkle's topic in Psychology Forum
Hi, I'm also applying at the developmental psychology program at UW, and for my other schools, i applied at their human and community development program. Anyhoo, i still haven't heard from the two schools whose deadlines were last Dec. The status of my application in their websites remain the same- submitted. Would you know if they update those promptly? -
Thank you, db998! And congratulations! It's becoming harder and harder to function well and act normally while under the agonizing pain of waiting!
-
And wow, congratulations to you!!!
