    hahaha seriously, I got an email a few hours ago that had "MFA" in the subject, heart immedietly jumped, then realized it was from SUNY Purchase to let me know their deadline is today. Didn't even apply there.

    Wow that's way earlier than past years! Not complaining. What department did you apply to / did they say this applies to all departments?

    Yikes!! I hope it works out, maybe they got your info mixed up? If you got a slideroom confirmation I would think they'd be able to see everything from their end. I emailed this morning too for sculpture and was told they hadn't reviewed my application yet & I should hear back in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully they're still reviewing painting too!

    @leekrasner I'm still waiting on Tyler too (sculpture). Seems like no one has heard anything from both painting and sculpture.

    @desertdog Thank you! I'm sculpture, though since Rutgers is multidisciplinary I'm guessing it's everyone all at once but maybe they're staggering emails? I'm sure it was tough this year since everyone is fully funded.

    Got a hit from them yesterday afternoon, but no news yet. Holding out lots of hope, really liked the program when I visited!!

    Also sculpture, I got two identical emails from them a few days after applying lol. Their system seems glitchy.

    Congrats!!! That is strange they switched it up; maybe they want to save money by not flying people in this year? Weird that they wouldn't even offer in-person though.
