They used to mentor me for my previous research project, and they are also my recommenders. And I was talking about this cycle. I don't think international applicants are invited to come.

Cool! Also I was confused about the policy... A flight to NYC costs only ~200 within the required arrival time but a red flag saying "out of policy"... And I couldn't find any flights meet their policy within the required arrival time...

Two years I was told the acceptance rate for Systems Biology was around ~66% and roughly 20ish were invited

Actually international students are facing a great disadvantage that they are unqualified for almost any fellowships and program fundings (NIH/NSF etc). I was interviewed at Harvard SysBio 2 years ago but got rejected. And several inside persons told me this is due to funding issue.

Harvard SysBio used to be released in the same day as BBS.... So that makes pretty anxious... don't know if the invitations are out and just nobody posted the result here...
