  9. If they haven't booked the flights for you, it is pretty easy to tell them you have changed your mind. Otherwise, some schools will ask you to pay for the tickets since they are not re-fundable...
  10. you should definitely do that. International students are considered separately from US students and the competition is way more tense for the international ones. Since most interviews are out now, you'd better do it ASAP, calling them. Congrats!
  11. I applied to Gatech qBioS with my Biology be my host department. but the admission processes probably are different.
  12. The instructor still can say no or mess up my scores... I am seriously consider dropping this, and I feel I can find a programming job with a PhD degree from any of the institutes I applied to.
  13. My research mentor called the director and the director emailed the lecturer, asking him to consider adjustments. The director called what the instructor has done as unreasonable and said the faculty should not hinder students' success. Don't know if this will irritate the instructor and exacerbate the tense...
  14. Talked with the academic advisor, he refused to do anything about it. Haven't heard back from the director. Should I bring up this issue to the dean?
