That's awesome! I have not received any word on UW funding aside from getting an interview for the START RA position, which would be awesome! 
That's what worries me most about UW- having to scramble for funding quarter to quarter... although one professor I spoke to did say students get very good at writing grants because of this!

Speaking of BU... I have seen people mention that they have 4 spots and had 250 applicants. Does anyone who spoke to BU know how many they invite to interview?
 
ALSO- emailed Berkeley and Columbia. Admin at Berkeley let me know their final meeting is next week, so hopefully will be hearing soon. Admin at Columbia said hopefully by the end of the month!

Just curious what they could ask in 15 minutes...but looks like it might be something they make everything do. 

Rejected from Emory Epi yesterday, but today received an acceptance email from the University of Washington! Although they state students find their own funding so a bit nervous about that... may start asking around in the next few weeks.
Also received an email from the University of Minnesota saying I passed the first round, and they will attempt to match me to an advisor and funding.

Got an interview for PhD in Population Science at Harvard (Cancer Epi). Does anyone know if they interview every prospective student or should I be celebrating....at least a bit? 
Also any tips to prepare for the interview?

Which PhD program at Hopkins are you applying to?

BU and Yale have doctoral interview days, I am pretty sure. Harvard does Skype interviews but I think some people are accepted without an interview, some interview once, and some interview a few times so not sure how it works.

I have heard nothing from any of the programs I applied to. I am hoping that the next couple weeks are productive for adcoms and we all get some news soon!

FYI- Just heard back and got an interview with Michigan Epi! Doctoral day- Jan 24-25.

I think Epi department only (judging from the email subject)!
