  1. Oh shit! You just saved my hide. Haven't got any mail yet from Lakehead, but I got my online acceptance a little bit ago. That's a bit worrying! I just checked OUAC and I can accept the offer there, so sending an e-mail to the address they gave us as an alternative to Sonya to confirm my acceptance. Thank you!
  2. Hey all who just replied about the Lakehead admissions, just wondering where you can see that you have been waitlisted. When I click on the 'My Application Status' tab it shows me the application for both Orillia and Lakehead but then just has the regular columns of 'Start Term, Program Choice, Campus, etc.' Where does it show that your status has somehow changed? Thanks in advance!
  3. Ohhh, congrats! Is that the Lakehead HBSW that you're referring to? How were you notified? Thanks for the update.
  4. Just got my waitlist e-mail from York 2 Year MSW. Again, bleh.
  5. In 2015 I heard back from York that I was waitlisted on March 26th. I don't think there are strict timelines though. It's my third year applying to schools so I'm definitely hoping this is the year. Somehow Lakehead's HBSW had evaded my radar, but I've applied to it this year, so I'm hoping that if a 2 year MSW program doesn't work out, I'll at least get into that! Good luck everyone, anxiously waiting along with all of you.

  7. Congrats! Does this mean that you were accepted off the wait list yesterday? Did it happen through a phone call or an e-mail?
  8. Waitlisted for Uoft today via snailmail. Bleh, waitlisted for York earlier too and these were the only schools I applied too. I am proud to be in this position in a sense, but it ain't cute to be in this totally helpless spot knowing that my application is not quite good enough.
  9. Ohhh congrats, Dexy! Do you mind me asking how long they gave you to confirm/deny your acceptance?
  10. Last year people got their acceptances and waitlist e-mails on the same day and people who were rejected never received an e-mail They eventually received a letter in the mail letting them know they were unsuccessful (the myFile also updated). That being said, this year it looks like acceptances/waitlist were sent out and then another wave of waitlists were sent in the following weeks. Given that the program lets in few students, it's hard to imagine they haven't sent all of the acceptances/waitlists with two rounds, but it's really just speculative!
  11. Waitlisted to York as well.... after having been waitlisted last year as well Fuck.
  12. Hey guys, grats to everyone on Uoft/York applications! I went to 2 universities for my undergrad and one of my transcripts hadn't arrived yet so I called the office and she told me it's ok if your transcripts/references don't arrive until the New Year. So for anyone lurking these forums freaking out, have no fear!
  13. Ok great, maybe I will just do that! Sounds simple enough. I believe I paid for my UofT app on November 18th, so it would be sometime between then and December 1st, when I first went back to upload more documents and noticed the change.
  14. I would give them a call! I also did my undergrad at UofT, and without doing anything, my 'Official Transcripts' have been received. I do have a question about this part of the application though. It says I need to upload an electronic transcript in PDF form in addition to the hard copy official transcript. Let's just say I'm not super savvy with technology. What the hell does this mean? Haha. I'd have no problem converting the transcript to a PDF file, but I have no idea how to get this electronic version in the first place... Thanks in advance!
  15. Congrats to everyone accepted at Uoft! In your packages, was there a deadline that you have to accept by? Thanks.
