You're not wrong... I didn't want to be harsh.. But I completely agree .. But applying to multiple schools kinda eliminates the whole 'what if I just applied to one more school I could have gotten in' so I get that as well

people are getting acceptances and I just finished my last application like 2 days

yeah, my hope is that they will be able to see the low grades werent recent or not even in the last 60, and that at least shows you/me/everyone got their life together at this point

If u took college or university level classes in highschool CSDCAS counts them towards your undergrad... God knows why

i agree with not being harsh... but those stats are low for MGH although i see you have a few 'easier' schools on your list, best of luck in those!

the cut off isnt mentioned anywhere because it changes every year. only the admissions committee knows the actual cut off

yeah it got posted few days ago. pretty stressful...

any idea if ORPAS will post the break down of the gpa like csdcas does? or are we just never gonna know?

maybe its different for the american schools vs canadian schools. but our schools posted how they deal with that. so if your last 60 credits falls into half a semester. that semester will be averaged out for the last few credits.

decisions arent made until late march early april for most schools. some schools are the exceptions such as mgh i believe among others.

tl;dr I FEEL YOU.... lol well... one of my references isnt submitted to orpas, and its by mail. so i asked the refereee and they didnt answer my question regarding of actually sending it. told me not to worry. and ofcourse i DID worry.. so i called orpas today and they said they havent processed and looked into the documents they have received but havent filed yet. its not there either!!! they asked me to call my reference and have them resubmit. the deadline was a week ago.... i still have outstanding references from this referee incduing alberta and bc... i am having HEART ATTACKS.....

if youre in tampa how come university of south florida isnt on your list? just curious

tl;dr i left it blank. as that box is optional i didnt put anything. they will be calculating your gpa anyway, i dont see why we have to guess.

me too (almost) every application allows u to view receipt of references after.

u dont click. just put your mouse over the icon. it says (3.0, 70%, First Class) regarding the degree certificate, i dont see a req for that, i only uploaded the transcipt

margins should be standard. theyre gonna see if you change them, they read hundreds of them

lol theyre not even accredited and they got the balloons to demand all kinds of gpa averages.... sigh.

i went with the safe route of just labeling them as green in my head

im bumping this older thread. any thoughts on south florida? their website isnt an informative as id like it to be. is tampa area heavy on hospitals or is this program more school based?
