I'm so glad this is here. I would be freaking out so much more if I thought I was the only one who hadn't heard. Meanwhile, I'm home sick so I have nothing to distract me or prevent obsessive e-mail checking

You can totally request an extension. NYU gave me four weeks originally and I wrote them around week 3 explaining that I hadn't heard back from other schools and they gave me until March 10.

I have! I'll probably apply to the dual program if I go to Berkeley. And I remember them having some really good faculty. I wont hear back from Gothenburg until March 24th so I guess the Berkeley timeline isn't too disappointing. What's your first choice?

I'm not sure if Berkeley is my first choice. It might depend on how financial aid compares between Berkeley, Columbia and NYU, but honestly I think the University of Gothenburg may be my first choice since I'm planning on focusing on international sexual wellness and sexual violence prevention.

You should receive a scholarship email shortly after your admission offer. I'm not sure if there's any other financial aid nor am I sure when that info is sent out.

Yeah! It was a really quick decision. I was really surprised.

I was accepted around two weeks ago with 17k per year in scholarship. However, I probably won't be going since I got into Columbia. I'm waiting to hear about financial aid from them before I officially turn down the offer. Once I do, it will free up a spot for someone else and potentially some scholarship funds since they likely are drawing from one pool of funds. Good luck, everyone!

Thank you! I want to focus on international sexual wellness and sexual violence prevention. I spent last year working with women accused of witchcraft accusations in Ghana and it cemented my desire to work on an international capacity. Unrelated, I got accepted to Columbia today! So that's one less school to anxiously fret about haha.
