Sorry for the double post, but I thought I'd share my prediction for McGill In 2010 it was the 19th Feb (last Friday of Feb) In 2011 there are no reported admits In 2012 16-18 Feb (end of the second week of Feb) In 2013 it was the 22nd Feb (last Friday of Feb) In 2014 no reported admits In 2015 it was the 25th Feb (last Wednesday of Feb) Based on the fact that the last few years the admits have always been released in February (and in the last two years I have data for, in the last week of the month), then I predict that if we don't hear today, then probably middle of next week. So say I.

Hmm.. Is it possible Villanova has more interviews to send out? There are only 3 reported, and I know there are so many of us here waiting. I hope so!

Kant's An Answer to the Question: What is Enlightenment? To me, this is the text that encapsulates everything that the Enlightenment stood for, and has so little of what was bad about it. It has everything in it, and I'm pretty much writing my (MA) thesis about it.

I have a huge feeling that McGill will release offers while I'm asleep (Friday North American time). My reasons: 1. That ping on my academia profile (yeah, it's circumstantial and likely nothing, but I have nothing so far, so I'm going to take this as a portent) 2. the weird periodic inability to log onto the application page 3. I wish really hard that this will happen 4. I don't care, it's just like, whatever.. I haven't got any emotional or other stake in this whatsoever. Not at all. Not me, sir or madam or person, not at all.

Honestly, I mostly mentioned it because it was from the precise area McGill is located in, and also, because I have so little hope that any sign, however faint, seems like a pyre burning atop a mountain.

My fingers are crossed so hard for everyone here.

OH!!!! This give me hope. I also now realize my life is like Kafka's Trial.. I'm here waiting for the results of my plea, from a jury that I can't ever see, with laws that I'm not allowed to know.. And I get slight hope, only to have it yanked away in a week (probably)....,
