@NeuroMetro I considered that but is that even possible? That is a really good idea, I am 3 years out of college so I do feel a bit rushed in making the commitment soon as well

@braaains i know I don't know if not being told yet is good/bad! I just am not really that excited/looking forward to the choice I have and I don't know if I can "make it work" for 6 years you know? I asked the admin last week, like if it is a no I just want to know at this point.. @NeuroMetro I am so happy to hear that, I hope that things become easier for you

@NeuroMetro I really want to go into neuroprosthetics or like BMIs/BCIs/ neurorehabilitation, I do feel at a disadvantage with no engineering background and it just keeps seeming like all the potential labs I would want to work in have no room/funding/projects but then people tell youto choose the mentor not the science -

@NeuroMetro I am so sorry to hear that, that is a big fear of mine--if I move away,,, I have good option at Pitt! but then someone told me that maybe I should consider getting masters in engineering....basically I am questioning everything. you? -

yes. UGH YES -
@ChrisTOEFert Thanks so much for that, I honestly didn't know how candid I could be with my current top choice program from the ones that admitted me! I found some reddit thread that made the whole thing seem really daunting

@braaains of the schools I interviewed at yes! it is so beautiful too, but now I am just worried like if they don't tell us yes/no by 4/15, what happense? :-/

thank you for starting this thread, i am so afraid of committing by april 15 and then coming off a wait list, what are you guys gonna do? waitlisted at USC!

Congratulations on your acceptances to Davis and WashU! I was just wondering if anyone else was put on some sort of waitlist before the interviews of a specific program? I was notified I was on a wait list after this school sent out some rejections but also after they sent interview invites. Not many people turn down interviews so now I am just like hello from the other side -

I don't know your interests but my friend just became a professor there! She is I think clinical psych technically (does research on suicide)--her name is Dr. Cassie Glenn and is an amazing human. -
