  1. @NeuroMetro I considered that but is that even possible? That is a really good idea, I am 3 years out of college so I do feel a bit rushed in making the commitment soon as well
  2. @braaains i know I don't know if not being told yet is good/bad! I just am not really that excited/looking forward to the choice I have and I don't know if I can "make it work" for 6 years you know? I asked the admin last week, like if it is a no I just want to know at this point.. @NeuroMetro I am so happy to hear that, I hope that things become easier for you
  3. do any of you feel like you may commit to a school knowing your first/top choice has still waitlisted you? what is your plan? #askingForAFriend #me
  4. @NeuroMetro I really want to go into neuroprosthetics or like BMIs/BCIs/ neurorehabilitation, I do feel at a disadvantage with no engineering background and it just keeps seeming like all the potential labs I would want to work in have no room/funding/projects but then people tell youto choose the mentor not the science
  5. @toen THANK YOU, I will most likely (Definitely) reach out to you this week
  6. @NeuroMetro I am so sorry to hear that, that is a big fear of mine--if I move away,,, I have good option at Pitt! but then someone told me that maybe I should consider getting masters in engineering....basically I am questioning everything. you?
  7. @ChrisTOEFert Thanks so much for that, I honestly didn't know how candid I could be with my current top choice program from the ones that admitted me! I found some reddit thread that made the whole thing seem really daunting
  8. @braaains of the schools I interviewed at yes! it is so beautiful too, but now I am just worried like if they don't tell us yes/no by 4/15, what happense? :-/
  9. thank you for starting this thread, i am so afraid of committing by april 15 and then coming off a wait list, what are you guys gonna do? waitlisted at USC!
  10. Congratulations on your acceptances to Davis and WashU! I was just wondering if anyone else was put on some sort of waitlist before the interviews of a specific program? I was notified I was on a wait list after this school sent out some rejections but also after they sent interview invites. Not many people turn down interviews so now I am just like hello from the other side
  11. I don't know your interests but my friend just became a professor there! She is I think clinical psych technically (does research on suicide)--her name is Dr. Cassie Glenn and is an amazing human.
  12. Thanks for asking that/and posting here, I am in same boat! so at least I know
  13. @theNormalONE Yea I feel like I saw rejections from there a few weeks ago? I think they have interviews like next weekend and the following 2 as well!
  14. I go there next weekend but I do know they have 3 interview weekends?
