I heard that Yale had their preliminary interviews, official invites will go out Friday, with the official interview day either Jan 22 or 25

If we are capable of paying our own way at least to start the program, would that make a difference? And how would we go about relaying that to programs (if you know)?

I'm hoping the increase in applications is why there seems to be a delay in interview invitations compared to last year and it isn't just we're not getting invited

Got an interview invite from University of Houston on December 16th. Had a pre-deadline informal interview with them and UC Riverside. Heard nothing else so far.
