    Anyone in the Midwest going to Great Lakes this year? Three acceptances so far. Two from the alternate list and one right out of the interview. Super pumped! My top choice came through, so the other positions will be given up to my future Psychologist Colleagues!! . :-) Good Luck Everyone!!

    It really depends on what the program is looking for in applicants. My scores were atrocious ( All below the 50th percentile. Was in a abusive three cycle relationship with the GRE.), yet I received offers from three R1 universities. I believe my research, GPA, professional activities, interviews, and LORs made a HUGE difference. I also went for a Masters after my BS. Best of luck!

    I was packing to drive to another interview... Phone had a missed call from an unrecognized number.. The rest is a wonderful memory!! This is surreal!!!

    When you're wait-listed for a school.. and they send you a letter thanking you for submitting an application and how they "look forward to working with you" post interview. Though you have known you've been wait-listed for the last five weeks!!!!!!!!! Way to play with my feelings..... #WineNight #MondayBlues

    I am not sure if there is a difference. I have been told the same by two different programs. I am hoping one turns into an acceptance. One interview left, but things are looking slim.. Might be entering cycle 3....

    Hi Borubeb! Good Luck with the process! This has been a really stressful time. I think that is the toughest part of waiting. A way that I got around this was by sending thank you letters to my POI. In my experience they reply with a timeline of when responses should be sent. However, there has been one program that has not given any information at all. Even after the thank you letter.

    Hey All!I saw this thread created in previous years and thought it would be great to have a support network! Applied to 12 clinical and counseling programs this cycle. Have completed 3/4 interviews so far. I was wait-listed for a two programs post interview, and alternate for one program pre-interview. Not sure how to feel at this point. This is my second application cycle. Any who.. Looking for a judgement-free zone to discuss the process and offer support to my fellow wait-listers...
