Same here. I'm been a slob of a worker and I've been neglecting a paper I am working on. I feel like I can pull away for a little bit...but I just get sucked back into thinking about it all again. Sigh.

In a strange turn of events, I was just accepted to the PhD philosophy program with full funding...despite not applying to the program. I'm 100% full of b.s. I'm not so sure I'll be accepted to the local community college associates degree in pottery anymore if I have to wait any longer...I need to drink this weekend.

Let me preface what I am about to say with: this is not funny at all. However you made me laugh because I'm pretty sure you might be close to the talent of Jesus on paper....so in all seriousness who the hell are they accepting!??!

I saw that too. If I recall, that is the same program you were applying to...so although that stinks, at least it's something. I saw someone applying to the drama school received a letter (by post) on March 10th, but since I'm not applying to the drama program that's not much help! I'm okay for about 2 hours and then I need to check the results page or hit refresh on my email (even though it checks every 15 min).

Yes. Checking the website (which who knows if it will even say anything) regularly. I run home after work to chew the lock off the mailbox. Holy hell.

As zxcv posted, this is the method I used this year when I did my taxes and I swear it has to be new because I check every year and this (2009 taxes) was the first time I ever deducted books. Thankfully I had saved my receipts -

Thanks for that tip! I'm not sure it will help my compulsive checking of the website/email/results pages here () but that is good info nonetheless! I saw in the results from last year that people were notified via email...since I have received application related email since I've applied, I hope I can expect the same with an admit/reject. Sooner-than-later would be nice...I need to plan moving arrangements and my fiancée will need to start job searching a little more hardcore. Sigh. *tick tock tick tock*

Email this afternoon with the subject "ACCEPTED! ..." - it was a meeting request that was sent out on my behalf. I almost cried.

NSSR sends out the first batch of letters tomorrow...so while I have been waiting, the real waiting does not start until tomorrow. Sigh.

Yeah NSSR for me as well AND they are also the only school to which I applied to. For some reason I thought you applied to more than one school....so you're also in the same boat, one school and a school that's sending out notices "late". Blah! I'm kind of hoping for an email, but only because I'm impatient. I literally just stopped checking the website and the results here 5 times a day last week at some point (even though I knew about March 10th); however, I'm certain that I'll be checking 20 times per day starting Wednesday. It's too much time to think about things...while I'm driving or running errands I start thinking that I should have said something different in my SOP or I should have had someone else send a letter of rec. I'm trying not to think about it, but it's tough!
