  1. I am. I have made a choice among the schools I've heard back from and declined the other offers, but I still really, desperately hope to hear something from UNH. If anyone here is the person-currently-considering-their-offer, I would be immensely grateful if you let them know something soon. I emailed DGS, and she told me I am next in line--however, if the person currently considering takes the full two weeks to respond, it will be past the April 15th deadline and too late for me. Argh!!
  2. Thank you for posting this! UNH is the one school I haven't heard from, and while I've taken that as an implied rejection, it's also my top pick, so I've been sitting here twiddling my thumbs--just in case. I guess it's safe to assume that, even if I were to get in, funding would be highly unlikely. Best to turn my attention to the schools that have sent offers.
  3. Is anyone planning to decline New Hampshire or Oregon? I know they've already sent out letters, but I haven't heard from either school (for better or for worse), so I assume I'm in limbo.
  4. So good to hear! I would, actually, feel odd NOT asking him, but when it comes to sitting down and writing him (he's five states over now), I keep thinking, "Surely he's busy. Surely he has better things to do now." Okay. I think I'll go for it. Thanks, guys!
  5. One of the professors I worked closely with during my MA research (he wan't my thesis director but was on my committee, and I took a couple of classes with him) is now a high-ranking administrator at a different university. Would it be appropriate to ask him for a LoR?
