I have no idea if they have interviews or not, but my friend who applied there didn't hear back in any way yet either.

That's crazy. I wonder if this is the case for counselling only, or if clinical is going to let us know this late too... It might be because Ottawa's counselling program is not accredited, and as such doesn't need to follow the CPA deadline? Regardless, they will for sure miss out on their best candidate picks, since pretty much everyone who got offers by then would have accepted them.

Yes I think that would be a good idea, mention the fact that you have another offer and the POI will understand I'm sure. From what I understand most if not all offers from clinical have gone out. So unless the POI is still considering you as a backup in case their first choice rejects the offer, it's not really worth waiting, in my opinion.

I'm from McGill, and yes they don't do interviews in most cases. I can confirm they have contacted a few students already though, my friend got accepted to clinical about a week ago. For counselling and educational, not much has gone out yet from what I know.

Yeah, I really have no idea. The Open House is March 3rd, all I know is that those accepted should almost surely be notified soon, or at least next week, and invited to the Open House

No, the adult track. I don't know though whether it has been updated for everyone. I was notified of my status way before this update on eGAS, so maybe the status has only changed for a few people.

I applied for the clinical program. You should shoot them an email for sure, I did that a month or so ago because I had sent my documents a long time prior to that, and they updated my file within a week

The unofficial offer is usually not made by the POI before the psych graduate committee has met and made their picks. Personally, I was contacted by the Psychology Chair about my acceptance, meaning that the committee had already met and sent their picks to the graduate dean, who's the only one allowed to make an official offer. At least that's what I know

Thanks! Yes my offer is for the adult track, the child must be happening a bit later, seen how the interviews for that track were set later as well I believe

Does anyone have any opinion on Windsor as an option for the clinical psychology adult track? How about the city of Windsor itself? My feeling, from whatever I was able to find on this forum and elsewhere, is the University and the program are great, but the city life has not been a great experience for many. As someone from Montreal (having lived here for more than 10 years), I enjoy the big city life, and I feel like I might feel isolated in a small city like Windsor. This is especially concern because of the long-term commitment of a clinical PhD. Any insight would be appreciated also if anyone knows someone who's going there in Clinical, or who's a grad student there in general, would you mind connecting me with them if that's ok?

The POI contacted me shortly after the director to set up a time with me. I don't think the director is going to do an interview.
