Both NYU & Columbia said they received 150 applications

They haven't sent out a schedule for the day but it's 8-4 so probably a bit of everything

Columbia is offering phone interviews on the same day as NYU is doing in-person interviews yikes

Any volunteers to call McGill and ask what's going on - it's been 2 months! Maybe someone who's a local and not a long distance call away?

I am an international student too. I applied to McGill on November 9th - this is now my top choice pretty much.

Probably for people applying for any environmental health track or programs. The pool of applicants is also different, many international students have decided to apply to programs elsewhere.

Had a very similar experience at USC with a POI who said he was taking students and then ended up not actually having the funding himself - only could take students if another faculty member was interested in that student and could fund them. Seems like something that could have been mentioned months ago instead of after applying.

USC extended all their invites a while back

Fordham has definitely extended all invites this past Monday. Columbia (TC) depends on the lab - some haven't sent anything out yet.

NYU's school of global public health sent invites out a few days ago

I listed 2 POIs at each school - in order of preference. I also contacted the POI I was most interested in working with around August to ask whether they were taking students.

Emailed UCLA to ask whether all invites had gone out - got this reply: "All applications are currently under review by our Admissions Committee. Interview invitations will be emailed to applicants the week of January 23." So there's still hope!!

Aren't they conducting interviews though? Both NYU & Columbia did interviews last year.

I got an invite to LIU (phd), interviewing on 2/18.

I'm surprised because last year they started offering interviews 12/28!

Has anyone heard from McGill?

To the person asking me on the results feed about LIU: "To the LIU Brooklyn poster- congrats on the interview! Did you receive any confirmation that your application had been received/ completed in Dec. except for the automatic 'you have emailed LIU' email? Since the application was not a traditional online system one can check, I am wondering if others received any communication. Thanks" I didn't really receive much by way of email, so I called back in December after sending all my application materials to double check that everything had been received.

My POI at USC just said all interview offers have been extended. There's only 3-4 PIs actually taking students this year so chanced are pretty slim unless you applied to work with them:
