  1. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all the top clinical programs agreed on a single process, a transparent and consistent timeline, and a commitment to sending weekly notification updates as to the status of your application? One can dream.....
  2. My pleasure. Info sharing is my way of putting good karma out there. ?? Am rooting for everyone on here!
  3. I've been told that the entire Rutgers clinical faculty is convening this week to discuss their shortlist, with PIs advocating for certain students to be invited to Interview Day on February 10th. I.e., they have not sent formal interview day invites out yet but should within the next week. Some (but perhaps not all) applicants on that shortlist have already had Skype or phone pre-interviews with their POIs. Hope this helps.
  4. Anyone who got a UCLA or Duke invites so far, congratulations! And I'd really appreciate if you PM'ed me your POI initials, as it would be a huge help with my own travel planning process. Thank you so much! Brian
  5. Whoever got the Rutgers interview please chime in before 14 people have nervous breakdowns!
  6. From what it looks like, these Rutgers communications are coming directly from POIs and not from the department itself. So don't despair too much or to prematurely! –Your resident optimist/cheerleader
  7. Thanks -- UVA gets confusing because there are two clinical psychology degrees, one at Curry and one at Arts & Sciences. Curry I believe has sent out all invites; however the more academic PhD at Arts & Sciences has been silent so far, to my knowledge. Thanks for that clarification!
  8. I'd never say never; I have heard stories of people getting interview invites later in the process, seemingly out of nowhere. But if there's nothing in your Spam box it's probably safe to figure that you weren't in the primary group of finalists, unfortunately. Best of luck though, in your other applications!
  9. I now believe the process of applying to clinical psychology doctoral programs is designed to ensure that you need at least 2-3 years of therapy to recover from applying to clinical psychology doctoral programs, thus keeping the profession alive in perpetuity.
  10. Yes - I received a formal invite to interview on Feb 2nd, about a week ago, but I never would have seen it had I not randomly checked my Spam folder. Apparently many applicants did not get the message in their inboxes.
  11. No word from UVA, UCLA, or Harvard for me (and haven't seen any posts on these programs yet anywhere. Didn't apply to NW. Good luck to you!!
  12. There are few words adequate to describe the suspended, weightless, breathless agony of refreshing your inbox 17 times an hour waiting for word back about interviews.
  13. I second that request on Duke – the calendar says their interview notification deadline is this Friday the 20th, so I'm wondering (hoping) that they are sending invites out in batches over the week?
  14. Still very eagerly waiting on: UCLA, UCSD/SDSU, U Washington Seattle, Boston University, Rutgers (PhD), Duke, UVA (Arts&Sciences), and U Miami. (In case others are as well!) And of course if anyone has any inside scoop on these programs in terms of interviews, I'd love to hear!
