Fall 2017 Education Acceptances/Interviews/Rejections
PaU^_^PaU replied to hopefulPhD2017's topic in Education Forums
@cjaneob, I have the same question. All I know so far is that they also offer online PhD. Their Instructional Design & Technology program caught my interest. I sent them an email about online tuition fees, but they have not gotten back to me.- 245 replies

@forgetful26 and @mjl89, thank you for the info. Please let me look into it. I'll let you know mjl89 if I'd like to learn more about it from the insider.

I would like ask if anybody can spam me with a list of schools that offer online PhD in Education, other than Walden, Capella and NCU. My main interests are instructional technology, teaching and learning, and curriculum and instruction. So far, I have heard the online program offered by Univ of Buffalo and ODU. Any other schools should I look into? TIA.

UC Irvine School of Education (PhD program)

Hi @ugggggh, this is my first time applying there. Were you waitlisted last year? I'm basically waiting for a rejection since I didn't get an interview invite. -

I'm sorry about that, @refreshingmyemail. I'm crossing my fingers for you as well for my own fate. -
@kristinat08, would it be okay to ask you a question about your online doctoral program. I can't relocate due to family obligations. So, I have to either find nearby schools or do it online. How does the graduate assistantship that you do with you professor work? Do you assist him online/remotely? If you prefer a PM, I'll be more than happy to reach out to you. Also, I'm not a NY resident. Much appreciated :-)

@refreshingmyemail, I might be wrong. I thought I saw your posting in another forum from last year that you received an interview invite from UCI School of Education. -

@refreshingmyemail, for 2017, it looks like it did because someone posted in the Results about getting an interview invitation. At any rate, I'm applying this year and haven't heard anything, not even an interview invite. I'm thinking to ask people who were admitted last year. -

@phd2016, may I PM you? I'm applying but haven't heard anything. I wonder if it's okay to ask you questions about the admission process last year. Much appreciated. -
@ugggggh, I'm sorry to hear about that. I understand they do interview. Did you get an interview before receiving a rejection?

Is interview part of their admission process?

Azusa Pacific Uni, PhD in Higher Ed - Your thoughts?
PaU^_^PaU replied to PaU^_^PaU's topic in Education Forums
@xypathos I do prefer traditional, on campus school. However, my situation doesn't allow me to relocate. I have family obligations. 63K will be also tough on me. If that's my only option and if I can find (REAL) good reviews, I would consider it, tough. -
I greatly appreciate any honest comments about Azusa Pacific University's PhD in Higher Ed. I haven't seen discussion in these forums. I wonder why.
