I love the evil-genius-adcomm image in my mind. Someone mentioned Penn a few pages ago, but I'm not sure what it was based on... it doesn't seem like Penn is super consistent. Duke could very well be today. And that's terrifying... Oh and at this point, I would relish a rejection... just something to let me know I actually did something a few months ago, you know, like, that I actually filled out forms, wrote letters, paid fees etc.

I just re-read the email, my best guess is they will be reaching out to collect more information about research interests, career goals, etc. Now I'm all nervous about that! Yikes. I'll say it again: I guess I won't be eating/sleeping anytime soon...

I have 10 more, only have the Northwestern rejection in so far, which is taking me down a pessimistic pathway... I am expecting to hear from potentially 4 this week, and if there aren't any acceptances, it's not looking good for me. But who knows? We'll see.

On the real though: If I get an acceptance, I'm going to put something really polite and excited on here, but in real life, I'm going to be cussing and hollerin' something fierce... just FYI. @hyacinthus I was thinking those folks might be international...? It's like a separate login thing, called OneLink? I dunno, Duke sent an email after they got my application which contained a temporary link to a registration process.
