  1. Have they considered making this a requirement? Seems like it might cut down on trolling (maybe that's just my naive hope)?
  2. Man! That's dedication, thank you

  4. Yeah @fadedfigures I'm thinking about going back to HP series. I honestly never finished it, stopped on book 4 in middle school. Saw movies, but that's never the same... Where's my best bet for a synopsis that will get me back into the series at this juncture? It's been a while since Goblet of Fire came out
  5. Specifically spam? Probably 4 times. Email overall... too embarrassed to admit... more than 4, less than a million; we'll leave it there.

  9. Or another Cornell? If it was someone, great, but leaving the statement "thought I was done for this cycle!" is really bizarre...

  12. You may have already given this a browse, but this area (http://forum.thegradcafe.com/forum/33-computer-science/) may get you more of the insight you are looking for.

  15. Great question... I'll go with acceptance because it gets my claustrophobia going, but rejection could just as easily stoke my "oh no, not me too" feelings.... Trolls are messing with my gastrointestinal processes!
  16. half life
  17. That does seem early, and I thought they did interviews...? Not that that would necessary preclude an acceptance, but still, given the timing, this sounds fishy...
  18. There's a good used bookstore in my neighborhood, I'll go check there. #feelinginspired
  19. I'm intrigued @GreenEyedTrombonist, is reading the Valiant Universe "in order" a thing? Is this what you are referring to: https://vertigology.net/2015/12/09/the-complete-valiant-reading-order/ ? If so, that sounds really cool!

  21. Good catch! Blue Book
  22. I've been craving some escapism for sure, recently picked back up some of the Magic: The Gathering novels/anthologies... currently reading Rath and Storm, just ILL'd The Brothers' War. If anyone is into MTG, or just enjoys a decent-but-at-times-corny fantasy novel, the first book, Arena, is also worth picking up.
  23. Or possibly more addicting
