    I am very much in a similar situation, my heart is telling me to pursue a PhD in theology/religion, while my mind is struggling to justify the costs. Also, have you placed your deposit down for Union yet? I am about to!

    I believe that I'll be heading to Union as well! Are you concerned with living expenses in Manhattan though? That is the one thing holding me back..

    Anxiously awaiting any kind of contact from HDS... I'm supposed to go into a work meeting in 2 hours and I'm a mess! I called earlier and the office said that "decisions will go out in the next few days", so take that for what it's worth. Edit: Also important to mention, she said that everyone will be notified via email.

    Thank you for this info! I still plan on going this weekend, but with this in mind I will definitely (if accepted) have to visit again to get the full experience.

    @caffeinator Not as of yet, still anxiously awaiting my HDS decision.... Needless to say I haven't been able to get much sleep lately. Side note, I plan on visiting HDS next weekend, should I contact anyone at the school for a proper tour? Hopefully by then we'll all know our decisions!

    Hi everybody! I received my acceptance letter from Union today! I also received the "Union Grant" which is a 14,000 dollar grant (I am completely unsure of what percentage that comes out to). Is Union notorious for offering minimal financial aid?

    Hi everyone, I am extremely grateful that someone decided to create this thread, I hope it may serve to alleviate at least a little bit of our shared anxieties. As for me, I have applied to Wake Forest MDiv (Accepted 80% funding), HDS MDiv, Union MDiv, and Vanderbilt MDiv. Does anyone know what weeks I should be expecting to hear back from HDS and Vanderbilt? From what it looks like, Union may be very soon.
