  1. What are people thinking? How are you contemplating between your offers, etc? I have been accepted to both Duke and Harvard, and I am unsure which to choose. I really enjoyed the community at Duke, and I know there I will get the training I need to be a successful academic researcher. Plus the work there is in a system I am familiar with. However, I also feel like Harvard is ... Harvard, and it is going to open a lot of doors just by sake of its silly prestige. Any advice (especially from people who were accepted to these schools too)?
  2. Accepted to Duke Biology and U Chicago Ecology and Evolution Rejected by Princeton Ecology and Evolution .... still waiting to hear from Harvard (Oddly enough I felt unsettled about U of C, but thought I had Princeton for sure)
  3. @phylogenious my first author was a publication in New Phytologist. I am also a co-author on a pub in Science. Travel arrangements for OEB Harvard are due today.
  4. I have been stalking this forum for a month. Figured I would go ahead and add myself.
