    Just fyi as a black girl when I went to Santa Cruz I felt like I was in get out, the tension was weird and uncomfortable- I didnt feel safe at all.

    Notified of fellowship (Graduate opportunity fellowship) confirmation by email March 24 for Desma. Is anyone else here going to UCLA? I would love to talk more about it and organize

    USC Interactive Media and Game Design, UCLA Design Media Arts, UCSC Digital Arts and New Media, NYU Tisch Arts Game Center, UCSD Visual Arts. So far I've been accepted to USC, UCSC and NYU- I interview with UCSD this weekend and expect to be accepted to UCLA in the coming weeks as the interview went really well

    The professors are good, the resources are not and Austin has no art scene whatsoever. I just felt isolated but it wasn't terrible 3/5 stars

    Congrats, I think you're an odd duck like me. I do artgames so not many people in this forum are applying to the same programs even though it's an mfa- and the media arts forum is a ghost town

    Sort of but I have heard of that happening but more for waitlisted candidates.

    No, not yet- I interview at UCSD next weekend and I need a response from UCLA and USC, then I need to see funding from all of them- and theeen I can decide.

    Yes. I was accepted to NYU and UCSC and they both used this language. I think its legal-ese because you're not a confirmed student until after that big decision day in April.

    Just had an interview with UCLA DMA- I think it well but so hard to tell. Has anyone ever interviewed there before?

    Has anyone ever interviewed or heard of someone interviewing for UCLA Digital Media Art? Its my top school and Im very nervous about the interview next week. They said Ive been approved for two rounds, but I think Im curious most of all is how many people they cut after the interview?

    I'm not sure if anyone here is into New Media but so far I've been asked to interview at UCSD visual art, UCLA DMA, USC interactive media, UCSC danm, and NYU tisch game design. Just a heads up for those that do New Media and games (MFA).
