Still just the one, though. I assume it's either not legit, or maybe some sort of early fellowship offer. They're also international so it could have something to do with that. I hope they send everything out soon. They're one of the last schools I'm waiting on where I think I have a good shot.

Yeah, as someone just commented in Results, they seem to be rolling them out slowly. Weird praxis.

Who else is in at Irvine for philosophy? It's looking like that's where I'm going to end up, and I'm curious who else will be in my cohort! Also interested in talking to LPS people (I saw an acceptance posted this morning).

Uhhh. I just said they had 16/17 men last year. So I think it makes sense.

It sounds like it. Pritchard said that they are making few offers this year since last year's cohort was so large (17, and only one woman, so it sounded like they were going to especially prioritize gender diversity this cycle). I got a fellowship nomination, but another person from my program was also accepted and didn't get one. Sorry for the bad news.

FYI, I got a big envelope and assumed I'd been accepted to the PhD, but I'd only been accepted to the consolation prize unfunded MA. Just in case that happens to you so you don't get excited and then let down like I did

I got mine by snail mail when I applied in 2016.

It wasn't claimed by the person who posted, but I believe someone from Oxford said that two of their colleagues got interview requests from PSU.

I'm currently at Brandeis. If you PM me I can send you the SOP I used and possibly offer some further advice
