Thanks for posting, jman280687!
It seems like my situation is similar to yours. I received a Music Ed degree and have been teaching for about three years. This is the first cycle in which I have ever applied for a graduate degree so, needless to say, it's all brand new to me! I just discovered this site, too, and have been scouring for information regarding decisions from the universities where I have applied. At this time, I have applied to UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke, and the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. I received an invitation from Peabody to have an interview. That interview is next week - eek! I have been preparing for that along with the diagnostic examination. My dream that must come true otherwise I have no idea what to do with my life goal is to obtain a Ph.D. in Musicology, as well, and conduct research, write, and teach. I wish you the best in your endeavors!
