  1. I have no updates on my application either.
  2. It depends on your country of citizenship and where you got your medical degree from. Generally, international applicants whose primary language is not English do not have to take an English-language test if they have completed a degree at an institution where the language of instruction was in a country where English is the primary language (US, Australia, England, New Zealand, etc.). You can find the exemption rules and list of the countries on the website of schools you applied to.
  3. Congratulations!!!! Did you find out via email or the portal?
  4. To be honest, I feet the same It's so hard to stay positive ...

  20. My status changed to "Under Review" 2 days ago, and I have been waiting since mid-October. Meanwhile, I have already heard back from 2 of the US schools I applied to . I hope we will find out soon. Good luck!
  21. I have taken statistics (and biostats) in my undergraduate. I believe they only accept college courses.
  22. Hey! I also applied to U of A and SFU. Based on U of A website, applicants will be informed by mid-April. When I was applying to SFU back in October, the graduate program secretary said in her email, "Admissions are usually completed by March. At that time, applicants will be notified whether they are admitted, declined or waitlisted." Based on previous forums, U of A sends out decisions closer to April and SFU starts sending out 1st or 2nd week of March. Hoping there will be no delays this year. Good luck to everyone!
  23. An unofficial transcript is an academic record without signature, seal, date, or sealed envelope (usually submitted by you to the school on their application portal). Official transcript is certified by the university you are attending, printed on security sensitive paper and contains the University seal and signature (mailed by your institution directly to the college you are applying to).
