    Advanced standing has def heard back. A friend in my cohort got accepted last week.

    They technically gave me two different answers. My letter said the middle of February and the email they sent said end.

    I am definitely in the same boat but choosing between UPitt or NYU for advanced standing. However, UPitt is three semesters (fall, spring, fall), but NYU is just two. It still ends up being around the same amount cost wise. It truly boils down to housing and cost of living, but I am struggling. NYU offered scholarships and I am waiting from Pitt. I applied to Columbia but haven't heard back, however, I doubt I choose to go there.

    Did anyone receive the grantee admittance for GPA? If so, have you heard about funding yet? The lady told me if would be around this time, well the middle of February, but February is almost over...

    I applied to BU and heard back earlier this month. I am not accepting the offer and the deadline to accept was today. So they'll send out another way of acceptances probably next week.

    Yes, in general. Some people are telling me to stay in my home state, but I don't want to live there anymore. However, I do not want to drown in debt.

    Yes mailed, but it also would be available on the my pitt because that's where we would accept the offer.

    Honestly, it is probably because they needed more information.

    They just emailed me asking for an updated transcript with my Fall grades and spring enrollment. I am probably borderline lol. Luckily I had a 3.9 last semester.

    DEFINITELY! I went there for my undergrad. I have spent anywhere between 6300-8000 a year on rent. However, look quickly because housing gets snatched up pretty fast there. You don't really need a car. The transportation is pretty good in Bloom.

    Did you get your BSW from there or did you major in something different? I'm looking into going (it's in my top three), however, I don't want to live in another small/boring city. What do most people do there for entertainment?
