I think my big question for current students is: what do you wish you had asked about or known when making your decision? Anything undergrads wouldn’t have the foresight to consider about PhD life when applying?

I got my call for Brandeis this afternoon (around 5 pm for them) and it was from a prof. I haven’t seen anything on the portal or gotten anything via email. don’t give up hope yet!

There are two Brandeis rejections on the board... anyone want to claim them? I’m confused because my portal doesn’t say anything. And there aren’t any acceptances. What if I didn’t complete my application somehow or something...

I’m going to add myself to the probably rejected from Chicago group. I got the chance to interview but totally bombed it. Gonna eat mac & cheese now.

Interesting! Do you know who you’re interviewing with (POI or other profs? grad director)? What is your “area,” if you don’t mind me asking, in terms of era/methods etc.? And are you an international student? Best of luck this Friday, we’re rooting for you!

Well, they did say “fully funded” so there’s still hope for partial funding maybe? Online portal is updated I think! Update: saw your other post, congrats on being waitlisted! I’ll let you know as soon as I decide on a program if I don’t accept the spot.
