  1. Really?!! Where did you hear that from? I've been checking the decisions for the past years and they all heard back around Mar. 5-8
  2. what are you worried about? You have an average of 3.98 !!!!! How could that have been any better? I'd be very surprised if you don't get in with those grades. And they don't ask for GRE marks. It mostly your grades and your writing sample. But your grades are too good, they will confiscate even if your writing sample was bad. Which i dont think it is given how well you've performed. Just sit back and plan ahead for getting into Oxford. I'm so jealous btw. I wish I had grades as good as you. Then I'll just be booking my ticket to Oxford in advance.
  3. That’s awesome. No just the UK. I’m Iranian so can’t study in America thanks to Trump Can I ask if you applying before finishing your degree or after? And your average? I’m midway in my degree but my average was only 61% last year. I will need 73% this year to get the minimum but I’m not applying after finishing my degree I’m applying this January.
  4. who's applying from UK? And who's applying to Oxford?
  5. thank you for your reply. Btw I am very new to this website, is it mostly centred around American students? Or is the content also relevant to people who are from the UK? Many thanks for your help
  6. I’m currently doing my 4th year undergraduate degree in the University of Edinburgh. My average last year has been only 61% and this year it has been 70% so far. I think in the best case scenario I can graduate with 65% which is below their minimum requirements. I have some extenuating circumstances because of mental illness. I have been taking medication for the oast 3 years and also have been doing counselling. Should I bother applying to Oxford? How can I improve my chances? I don’t have much to stand out. I’ve not received any awards or been published or anything. All that I have is work experience in my university as a resident assistant. Also a deep and sincere live for philosophy of course. I’m also an international student if that matters.
