New Program Anxiety

I have been having these same feelings of anxiety, so it feels good to see I am not alone I guess. I just moved across the country a few weeks ago and was having severe anxiety leading up to the move and since arriving. I start my semester soon and every evening I have this crushing anxiety that I am going to be miserable, have no personal time, or not be able to rise to the challenges. Thank you both for the shared experiences, hopefully it goes away soon! Cassifrassidy, I definitely understand what you're going through and you're not alone lol -
I saw that Georgia State Clinical Psych invites went out; I was wondering if anyone has heard from the Clinical Neuropsychology concentration though? I called last Friday and the graduate adviser said she believed they were still being sent out.

I think I will word it in that way; that I have a previous invite in the area but I wanted to make that university a priority if possible. Unfortunately, my programs (Clinical) are so far not paying for travel costs, although they are providing a place to stay at least. I appreciate the feedback - this entire process has been the most stressful months I can remember!

I had a similar question, if I can piggy back! I have an interview in a few weeks already, and am waiting to hear back from another university that is close the one I am interviewing at. The interview days are a couple days apart, and they are on the other side of the country from me. Anyway, would it be inappropriate to email the PoI/call the office now to ask about invites, as I am trying to book flights now if possible? I don't want to appear impatient or anything, especially if I end up on a wait list or something.

Does anyone know if Georgia State has sent out their invites? I saw one vague post in the survey, but that was it.

I am still waiting for Birmingham as well, I have not heard any news. Regarding Miami, I did receive an invite, but I have not heard about any rejections (I imagine that doesn't happen till after interviews for the most part).

Has anyone contacted Penn State or Temple to determine if they are done sending invites? It seems they both have been sending them out sporadically.

Did UC Berkeley send out rejections as well as invites? I have not heard either way from them.
