I just called again. They said by the end of next week....“hopefully”. Not giving up on them but it’s important for me since I’m an advanced standing student and would have to make my summer available for the program. I applied 12/2 and was considered “priority”. 
Has anyone been rejected yet??? Someone please disclose (if you’re comfortable). We know that you will be valuable in any MSW program. We just want to know if they’ve sent rejections yet! ?? 
Lastly, am I crazy or am I the only Advanced General Practice & Programming applicant here? I don’t think they go by concentration but I’m curious to know if anyone in my concentration received a decision. My reach school UC Berkeley already waitlisted me so I’d be shocked to get denied by Columbia at this point.
Yikes, I’m venting again. I think I’m going to take a break from this starting this weekend ? thanks for being a great online support group!

If what they told me was true when i called... she said rejections have been sent out and they are going based on concentration and date of submission. I also applied priority on 11/30 for advanced standing but for clinical practice and still have not heard....  im really hoping by today or tomorrow.  

I just received the same email. I knew it was a long shot since I am out of state and the MAP concentration is notoriously small. 
 
I was in the bath when I received the email which really fueled the drama of the rejection lol 

I got the rejection notice as well, the first thing in my bed. Ah well. Maybe next time!

For those of us still in for the long haul, it looks like we've all already gotten into some pretty amazing programs and like my mentor just told me, "while columbia would be the icing on the cake, you still have the cake." Whether we see each other at columbia or are spread out all across the country, I know we're all going to become amazing social workers and achieve many great things! Good luck to you all! I think I'll take a few days off from all this obsessing now?

Hummm I haven’t heard anything today, wonder if that means a rejection is coming ? This school was 100% my reach so I’m not too pressed tho

I think they just haven't gotten through priority applicants yet. @patientlywaiting2 was told that they wouldn't hear back until March 23rd today, and I'm pretty sure they were a priority applicant. Still, if I were in your shoes, I'd call - I doubt it can hurt, and it sounds like it might be a little while still.
Pizza is always a great coping mechanism, lol.

On another Columbia thread someone mentioned they were emailed about being put on waitlist. 
From the ways things are going, seems like I should start a rejection support group. ? who has coping tips lol 

no matter if you receive an acceptance on Monday or won’t hear anything for many moons, we are all worthy candidates and deserve to have a nice weekend! I’m poppin off this forum for now ? lol

No no, I meant on Columbia's part, to keep people waiting in limbo. You're fine. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I called and the representative was very helpful, I asked a lot of questions... she said that all responses are going out in order of program and submission date. She said if people have been hearing back and you submitted before them, they did not apply for same program as you. Online and 2 year programs have heard back the most. Advanced standing has most batches to work through. She said all decisions have been sent out by date and program order and has nothing to do with strength of application. She said 2-3 more weeks for everyone to hear back from all programs. 

After being extremely nervous about getting into UW-Madison, since it's my #1 school choice, I received my acceptance today!!! So excited!

For those who are still waiting but absolutely want to live in NY. Fordham is still accepting applications.

I was looking at the email I got for "Your application is complete!" and it does say that Fall would be released in March lol
I also applied December 1st and got my "Your application is complete!" on December 6th.

Wishing you all the best as well, if we don’t try we will never know. I called UCB grad admissions today and they said they would let us know as soon as possible at the latest March 15 which doesn’t really sound very helpful at all. 

I am praying for everyone’s sanity on here that the rest of us get our decisions tonight. If I don’t hear I’m not sure I can make it through the weekend without dissolving into a gooey sludge 

I graduated Texas A&M in 2016 with a Special Education Degree with a focus in Alternative Behavior. I had a 3.6 overall GPA and 3.85 major GPA. I worked at Boys and Girls club in college and taught in Behavior and Headstart classrooms. I'm currently in my second year of Teach for America. I run the 5th grade after school girls club and volunteer at a non profit foster home for children in crisis on Sunday afternoons! I applied for the clinical program for school-based and school linked services 

I got accepted yesterday! I got an email around 4:30 (I live in Houston). I applied in November! Best of luck to everyone!!
