Didn't see a true McCourt forum on here yet for 2018. Decisions went out March 1 - March 8 last year, so I'm wondering if we'll have the same timeline. I had a delay in my official transcript from some graduate courses I had taken, so they had an unofficial one until last Thursday. I'm thinking that may hurt my decision timing.

I would say so! I had a friend who once called admissions and said, "American offered me this, but I'd rather go to you, how do we make this work?" (in more words). They gave him an extra $10k

My friend who goes to GWU law says it's very easy to negotiate funding there!

I'm expecting them in about 2-3 weeks. Last year, it was a lot of beginning - mid-March!

if you're identical (or as close as one can be to an admissions team), they'll choose the interview candidate 9/10 times. I think that's the largest impact.

I made the mistake of rereading my application for the umpteenth time after submitting it and saw that I eliminated a necessary word in one of my essays after grammar checking approximately 40 times, so now I'm even more nervous haha.

The envelope with decision documents is live, but nothing is in it, but this seems promising for today or tomorrow!

Anyone know specifically when in mid-February we'll hear? Harris is my stretch school for sure, so the silence is getting deafening, but I know mid-February can be anytime this week into the beginning of next.

I was accepted to the MPP is the SPA school, and also didn't hear anything about awards. They said they're reviewing all candidates after 2/15, the priority application deadline, and then releasing awards!
