mine changed from those exact dates also to those exact dates!!!!!! But they changed that a few weeks ago. It still says "application submitted" . I'm applying from the USA

On my way to Germany now for spring break and of course checking my application status at the airport lol. can't help but think about DAAD and all of you guys. Hope everyone is holding up ok and that we all hear something soon!

do you have any prior knowledge of German? cause like if they're not giving you funding for the two months you have to do the language class isn't that kind of annoying?

i'm in the same boat, need money to live. I'd be studying European Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin. I'm currently a European studies major with a minor in german. i'm interested in Germany's Open door policy and the migrant crisis in Europe. My future goal is to be an International Migration Lawyer.

so i know i shouldn't compare myself to other applicants, and i know not everyone wants to share information about their program or app. but i am curious. does anyone mind giving a mini explanation about what MA program they are interested in using the funding for (school/major) or what they want to write their thesis on/do research on? Mostly interested in those doing "graduate scholarship all disciplines 2018/2019" its such a broad category, i'm curious what other people are proposing. all in good spirit
